West Machine Works, Inc. was founded in 1951 in Metuchen, NJ as a custom prototype machine shop for the manufacturing industry.
West Machine Works, Inc. has been designing and building sensors for viscosity measurement for various companies for over 35 years.
As a second generation family owned business we will now join forces with Marimex Industries GmbH & Co. KG to produce and distribute
their world renowned
ViscoScope inline viscometer.
Marimex Industries GmbH & Co. KG
Founded 1996 in Bottrop / Germany
Marimex started with the marketing and sales of process viscometers manufactured by a US-based company.
In 2002 West Machine and Marimex began their cooperation and Marimex started with its own production of inline viscometers under the „
ViscoScope“ brand.
With a number of successful installations around the world, Marimex is one of the leaders in process viscosity measurements.
The fair and friendly cooperation between the two companies induced both owners to form Marimex America LLC.
